Festival posters for saree shops: when and what to post

A simple plan for Diwali, Pujo, wedding season and other festivals: when to start posting and what to say.

People buy sarees for a festival before the festival, not on the day. Posting on the day itself is mostly a greeting; the posts that sell go up one to three weeks earlier.

When to start

  • Durga Puja and Diwali: two to three weeks before.
  • Wedding season: from the start of the season, and again before big dates.
  • Bhai Dooj, Raksha Bandhan, Mother's Day: about a week before, as gift ideas.
  • Smaller festivals: a few days before is enough.

What to say

  • Lead with the saree, not the festival: the photo should do the work.
  • Keep the headline short: “The Diwali Edit”, “Pujo Special”.
  • Show the price clearly, and the MRP if there is a real discount.
  • End with one clear action: “Order on WhatsApp”, “Order before Diwali”.

Post more without more work

One photoshoot can become many posters. In Haat Studio, the Coming up list on your home screen shows the next festivals; pick one and the headline, short line and call to action change to match. Posters are free to remake, so you can post the same saree for several festivals.
