Privacy policy

This policy explains what Haat Studio collects when you use Haat Studio, why, and your choices. It follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, name if you give it, and your sign-in history.
- Your shop: shop name, WhatsApp number, logo, brand colours and other brand-kit details you enter.
- Your content: the product photos you upload, product names, descriptions and prices, and the photos, posters and videos made from them.
- Usage: what you make each month (for plan limits) and technical logs and error reports needed to keep the service working.
- Payments: when payments start, our payment provider handles your payment details; we receive only whether a payment succeeded and its reference.
We do not collect your contacts, your location or anything from your phone beyond the files you choose to upload.
Why we use it
- To run your account and make what you ask for.
- To apply plan limits, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To answer you when you write to us.
- To tell you about important changes to the service or your plan.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. Your photos are not used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's, unless you separately agree.
Who processes it for us
Your data is stored and processed by these service providers, only to run Haat Studio. Some are outside India.
- Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
- Vercel: hosting the website.
- Trigger.dev: running photoshoots, posters and videos in the background.
- fal.ai and the AI models it serves (including Google's and Anthropic's): making AI photos and poster designs from your photos.
- ElevenLabs: voice-overs and music for videos.
- Sentry: error reports (sent without your personal details).
- Our payment provider, once payments start.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete a product or design, its files are deleted. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example payment and tax records).
Your rights
You can see and change most of your data in the app. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to withdraw your consent, by writing to hello@haatstudio.co.in. We answer within 30 days.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your language. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
Your files are private to your account and shared only through short-lived links. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Changes
