Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Haat Studio ("we"), who runs Haat Studio (the website and app at haatstudio.co.in). By creating an account or using Haat Studio you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

What Haat Studio does

Haat Studio helps shops make marketing material for the clothes they sell: AI photos of their products on models or displays, posters, marketplace photos and short videos, from photos the seller uploads. The AI photos are made by third-party AI services we use on your behalf.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract under Indian law.
• Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Give us a working email address: we use it to sign you in and to tell you about your account.

Your photos and what you make

• Upload only photos you took yourself or have the right to use, of products you sell. Do not upload other people's photos, catalogue images you do not own, or photos of real people without their permission.
• You keep the rights to your photos. You give us permission to store and process them, and to send them to our AI providers, only to make what you ask for.
• The posters, photos and videos made for you are yours to use for your business, including on social media and marketplaces.
• The models in AI photos are invented, not real people. Do not present them as real customers or use them to mislead buyers about a product.
• AI can make mistakes. Check every photo and poster before you post it: colours, patterns, prices and words. You are responsible for what you publish and for your product listings being accurate.
• Your public gallery entries (only if you choose to share them) can be shown on our website until you turn sharing off.

What you may not do

• Use the service for anything illegal, misleading or harmful, or to make content that is sexual, hateful, or about someone without their consent.
• Try to get around plan limits, share an account between businesses, copy the service, or overload or attack it.
• Resell access to the service without our written permission.

Plans and payments

The free start, the credit packs and the monthly plans, their prices and credits are shown on the pricing and My plan pages. We are not registered for GST, so no GST is charged. A monthly plan gives its credits for 30 days from the day you pay; nothing renews by itself, and we remind you before it ends. Plan credits not used in those 30 days end with them, unless you renew before the end, when they carry over. Credits from packs do not expire. We may change prices or credits with at least 30 days' notice by email; a change never affects what you have already paid for. Payments are handled by our payment provider, Razorpay; we do not see or store your card or bank details.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Haat Studio running, but it may sometimes be slow or unavailable, and AI providers may change or stop. We may improve, change or remove features. If we stop the service entirely, we will tell you at least 30 days before and refund unused yearly plans in proportion.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost sales or profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Ending your account

You can stop using Haat Studio at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; where we can, we will warn you first.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first (hello@haatstudio.co.in) so we can try to sort things out. Disputes go to the courts of Agartala, Tripura.
